Question for Teachers:
What active learning strategies keep students most engaged in your classroom?
Student engagement is one of the biggest challenges teachers face. In many classrooms, students are more focused when they are actively involved in the learning process instead of only listening to direct instruction. Active learning may include group work, classroom discussions, hands-on activities, movement, student choice, problem-solving, projects, or technology-based activities.
Engagement does not always require expensive tools or complicated lessons. Sometimes, small changes in questioning, collaboration, or how students show what they know can make a big difference.
As a teacher, what is your opinion? What active learning strategies have worked best for your students? What challenges make student engagement difficult, and what advice would you give other teachers?
